Rob Rada
President
Rob Rada transferred to Hunter, where WHCS welcomed him with open arms as he assisted with radio events, equipment maintenance, and promotion. He is a Senior majoring in Media Studies with a minor in psychology. He has background in front of a camera and behind it with live production, audio visual work and streaming as he pursues a career in sports broadcasting.
Laura Marmol
Vice President
Laura Marmol is your 2026-2027 Vice President! She is a lower Senior majoring in History Social Studies Adolescent Education with a strong passion for research and music. On campus, she is a Student Ambassador, providing tours to prospective Hunter students. This is her third year at WHCS Radio and she has experience in marketing. She hopes to one day become a History teacher in the New York City area. She loves the New York Yankees, 80s music, and Back to the Future.
Mya Wilson
Station Manager
Mya is a sophomore majoring in Biophysics with an Anatomy concentration and is expected to graduate in 2029. She's a future doctor who loves goth music, playing bass, and writing her own music in her free time. This is her second year at WHCS, and she's excited to make more friends, share her love for music, and introduce even more people to the world of radio!
Riley Jackson
Treasurer
Riley is a senior double majoring in Political Science and Computer Science. This is her second year at WHCS. When she's not on campus, she's either at a concert, in a different country, or in the kitchen cooking :)

Skylar Cooper
Audio Technician
Skylar is WHCS's resident metalhead, as well as the audio technician for the 2026-2027 school year. For his final year with radio, he looks to replicate the energy of the local shows he attends with every live event WHCS has to offer.
Manion Pessier
Production Room Manager
Manion is a senior and she is majoring in Environmental Studies. She joined WHCS last year and is beyond psyched to now be on staff. She found this community to be so welcoming, creative, inspiring, and she intends to do her best to continue that legacy for others. Tune into her show, Airing Grievances, (day + time TBA) and sign up for her newsletter by the same name on PIFYI!
Emma Silva
Events and Promotion Manager
Emma Silva is a senior majoring in Media Studies with a concentration in Analysis and Criticism. She loves thrifting, reading, sitcoms, and music (obviously). Emma has been hosting her show, Bury the Hatchet, for three years on WHCS, where she dives into artists' feuds and uncovers the backstories behind your favorite songs. She cannot wait to see what the year brings and hopes to engage the community at Hunter!
Sofia Toledo
Community Outreach Manager
Sofia Toledo is a Junior double majoring in Music and Childhood Education. She enjoys singing, going for walks and hanging out with her friends. This is Sofia's first official year at WHCS and she is so excited to be apart of it!
Julia Waters
Social Media Manager
Julia is a sophomore majoring in developmental psychology. In her free time she loves to sing, play guitar (if you need a band member hit her up), cook, bake, and play Skyrim on her Nintendo Switch. She's excited for her first year at WHCS!
Noah McCarthy
Equipment Manager
Noah McCarthy is a Senior Film Production manager, with a previous associates degree in broadcasting. This is his fourth semester in WHCS and second year at Hunter, hosting two different shows. He is currently hosting, "Going Underground," a celebration of local punk and indie rock. In his free time he enjoys reading graphic novels, hiking, and going to hardcore shows with his best buddies.
Jamaine Gurley-Hopson
Inventory Manager
Jamaine Gurley-Hopson is your Inventory Manager, majoring in Studio Art. With the goal of becoming a comic book artist and a story teller, he's been apart of WHCS since his freshman year, and hopes to continue building a welcoming and supportive community. He wants to "make a world where everyone can eat," thus he encourages you to stayed tuned for his adventure.
Sophia Zayer
Inventory
Sophia Zayer is a Senior majoring in Film Criticism & Analysis but has participated in several divisions and projects alongside Hunter film students, whether that's video editing, onset assistance, writing, acting, musical performance-you get the whole shebang shabob. She enjoys playing eight instruments, blaring them into her cat's ear and making little songs in the comfort of her itty-bitty room with no windows. She makes said songs from scratch and relies on no presets because she's quite the old-fashioned lady, but, still open to other methods and its always experimenting. She enjoys playing competitive shooters, and performing better than anyone to have ever graced a first person shooter ever. She is fully devoted and has divided her efforts to become a fun, great, professional addition that can't wait to work in Radio for the first time.
